VJ
PATA DE PERRO
I
use use the software platform Resolume to VJ for parties or cultural
events.
( VJ = video jockey: edits video, animation and still images in
real time to the rhythm of music)
80 % of the footage I use is original (shot mainly on the Colombian
coast). I contrast images depicting a lifestyle far removed from
technological advances with the use of high tech tool like Resolume
and a powerful laptop.
While Vj’ing I mainly use video footage, few effects and some
animation. My video palette includes images of the tropical breeze,
carnival, sexy dances, Afro Colombian drums, indigenous ceremonies,
fishermen, the sea, the military, children, animals, birds, the
palms etc..
